Told by the shop my hpop was bad so i changed my hpop, oil tube, ipr sensor, and oil pressure sensor. If you find that the gauge shows low pressure after oil change as well, then you can be certain that there is something wrong with the oil pressure reader itself. Joined may 17, 2004 · 30 posts. Replacing the oil pressure gauge should solve the problem. If the pressure truly is at zero, yes, that's a problem.

I did have the air box off a few times maybe i hit something i don't know. The oil pressure gauge will usually drop when a few things could be happening. Now it will crank up no problem oil pressure gauge works until oil gets warm then it drops to 0 at idle and the skipping is getting worse.
